The first few months of the year are generally quite slow for freestyle skateboarding news as we all wait for the snow to melt and rain to stop. Thankfully, there’s always plenty of positive freestyle news emerging off the board to keep us going through to the warmer months!
Freestyle Returns to NASS for 2015!
It’s official: LateTricks and Freestyle Skateboarding will be returning to the NASS Festival at the Royal Bath and West Showground this July. Although the event is still in the planning stages, we can confirm it will be another demo featuring UK favourites Callum Bowran, Tony Gale and many more: we hope to see you there!
Broken Fingers Issue 2 now available!
The 2nd edition of the fantastic Broken Fingers Freestyle Zine is now available from the Small School Cooperation. If you haven’t picked up the first issue yet, we’d strongly recommend getting them both now while you still can.
After a break of almost 1 year, the Freestyle Podcast with Bob Loftin and Tony Gale returned! Check it out on their website now for discussion on the 2014 NASS Demos, the Paderborn Road Trip, Broken Fingers Magazine and much more.
Mode Skateboards Charity Board
Mode Skateboards have released the new Mike Rogers ‘Pelican’ model freestyle board and it’s an absolute beauty! Plus, for every board sold, Mode will donate $5 to Grind for Life Inc., an organisation that provides financial assistance for cancer patients travelling a long way for treatment; so everybody wins!
