Eurocana Skateboard ContestThis event took place alongside the Eurocana Renunion Skateboarding contest on August 5th and 6th. Despite breaking his elbow on an ill-advised freestyle deck ditch session, Tony Gale took first place. This was Tony’s first major European contest victory and Kaue Araujo’s debut skating alongside the professional freestylers. Mike McGill was registered to skate in the contest however was unable to compete. Per Welinder, Hazze Lindgren, Per Holknekt and Steve Caballero were also in attendance.
