Freestyle Video Highlights

LateNews - Summer 2015When the sun is shining and the weather is fine, the freestyle skateboarder’s pack up their camera, tripod and board, head out into the wilderness and begin filming! As expected, there has been a plethora of spectacular freestyle videos on display and here are just a few of our favourites:

Freestyle Session – Nagai Park, Osaka

The Japanese scene is the envy of the world – amazingly talented and a brilliant family-based community. Featuring Masahiro Fujii,Toshiaki Fujii, Isamu Yamamoto and more, this jam also welcomed the long-awaited return of Seya Nakano!

Freestyle Skateboarding Jam – The Crackling

Before there was the UK Round Up, there was the UK Freestyle Jam at Hog Hill. Featuring Tony Gale, Denham Hill, Alex Foster, Michael Erskine, Nathan Pseuzan and James “Fairbro” Fairbrother, this pre-Paderborn trip jam was packed with, as Denham would say “bangers”.

Boris Staver – Moldova Freestyle

After taking 5th place in the Amateur contest at this year’s Paderborn, Boris has put together a full part, showcasing his smooth style and incredible combos, which are sure to see him achieve great things at next year’s contest.

Pete Betti – Epic Freestyle Skateboarding

After reaching a huge audience on the Braille Skatebaording channel, Pete Betti put together this section of utter insanity, featuring more truck transfers than a transport depot, astonishing combos and possibly the most legit pogo-stair based trick you’ll ever see.

Not Basketball

Representing his new sponsor, Jckscrwn, John Hanson powers through technical tricks like they were nothing, with a great mix of stationary and rolling freestyle/street-style tricks.

Now one of the world’s most famous freestylers, Isamu’s full video part is nothing short of spectacular, featuring a mix of banked freestyle, powerful lines and a truly unbelievable ender.

Too much Kazzo in Kulo

Mario Steinemann, Marco Sassi, Nenad Kocic and Tonino Candela feature in this brief but brilliant video of freestyle skateboarding frivolity.
