When is it

The event is held at the Royal Bath & West Showground, UK, between the Thursday 11th and Saturday 13th of July 2013

The event will be comprised of 16 riders. 8 Riders will be prequalified with 8 wildcard spots available, to be applied for online and approved by the community.

Skaters will compete in one-on–one heats, with match ups being selected at random one week preceding the event. In addition to this, there will also be a battle between the semi-final runner ups to determine third and fourth place

This years Game of Skate Championships at NASS will follow “Berrics Rules”. As such, the following rules are in place:

• No Feet on the ground – ie, no bonelesses or no complys
• No Handplants
• No Grabs
• Popped tricks must be matched as popped tricks
• Last Letter gets two attempts
• Offensive toe drag gets one do over
• Defensive toe drag has a bigger margin for error but will be settled by an independent referee

Entry Fee

The fee to enter the NASS Game of Skate Championship will be £20

The contests will be judged by independent skaters selected on the date of the contest who can be relied upon for sound judgement.

The prizes for the event will be comprised partly from event entry fees and partly from sponsorship. Once we have a realistic expectation of the number of riders in attendance and level of sponsorship, full details will be available on this page.
